María is a Venezuelan flutist with a solid background in classical music and jazz, specializing in improvisation. With more than 15 years of experience, she combines technical excellence with deep artistic sensitivity, creating bridges between academic tradition and the creative freedom of jazz.

Her career includes international performances as a soloist, ensemble leader, and orchestral musician, as well as leading projects that explore Latin American rhythms and the language of contemporary jazz. She has been recognized in international competitions in Mexico and the United States for her expressiveness and virtuosity.

Currently based in Germany, María is actively engaged as a performer and educator, offering lessons and workshops that integrate classical technique with improvisation, fostering creativity in students of all ages. Her teaching approach draws on innovative methods such as the Suzuki philosophy and her experience with El Sistema de Orquestas in Venezuela.

With studies at prestigious institutions such as the Folkwang University of the Arts and additional training at Berklee College of Music, María is a versatile artist who transforms every performance into a unique experience, blending cultures and styles with authenticity and passion.
